About

My name is Erich Lazar and I am a graphic designer living and working on the west coast. The focus of my design is primarily in print and branding but I have experience in art direction, interaction design and publishing. I attended the Rhode Island School of Design and graduated with a BFA in Graphic Design. With over 10 years of experience, the bulk of my career has been as an in-house designer maintaining brand standards, launching massive campaigns and developing artwork for every level of creative strategies. I also work as a contract designer creating brand logos, producing marketing materials and designing cover art, information graphics and posters.

Living in a variety of cities like New York City, Washington, D.C. and Los Angeles, I’ve learned to draw inspiration from the land and people. I hunt for imperfect hand-painted signs, revel at our clandestine street artists and ponder the meaning of putting gigantic letterforms on the hills of southern California. I have experience in more than just Creative Suite, like puppet making, theatrical set painting and screen printing. I travel to wild new places whenever I can because exposure is real education, but on a budget I find absolute beauty in a well-designed game played amongst friends.
